PAYMENT
We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover and PayPal.  Credit card transactions are  processed securely through PayPal.  You do not need a PayPal account in order to pay using a credit card and PayPal does not share your financial information with us, ensuring your privacy using their secure server.  If you would like to pay with a personal check or money order, please email us so and we'll make the proper arrangements.  Orders placed with personal checks or money orders will not be shipped until payment clears our banking system.  We cannot be responsible for money orders or checks lost in the mail.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT OUR ITEMS:
Did you know that fabrics have names?  They really do!  One line of fabric is named "Chocolate" (who could resist with a name like that?), another is called "Nigella" and the list goes on.  But each fabric has a personality and that's the key as to what the rubia is going to make from that fabric.  She purchases some yardage, then lets it sit around for awhile while contemplating what to make with it.  No two items turn out the same, there's always nuance to each creation.  We don't mass produce our items, which pretty much guarantees that you won't see your purchase on everyone else.  We try to represent our items on our website in an accurate manner, so that you can get the essence of each item.  When possible, fabric swatches will be posted which allows the shopper a vivid picture of the fabric being used.  Because individual monitors are different, the colors you see on your screen may not be an exact representation of your chosen item.  We take photographs of our items in the natural light to bring out the true colors of our creations, hoping that the image will be clear on your computer monitor.  

SHIPPING:
Orders placed for items that are in stock will be shipped within 3 business days of the order receipt.  You will receive an email once your order has been shipped.  If you place an order for an item that needs to be produced, please allow a total of 2 to 4 weeks for production and shipping.  Please remember that custom orders take longer, but are created especially for you!  If we think that production is going to take longer, we will notify you immediately.  But we will do our best to get your goodie to you ASAP!  Please be aware that Florida does charge a tax (sorry) and the shipping charges will show in your shopping cart.

RETURNS:
It is our hope that you will be thrilled with your chosen goodie.  If an item is a special order, if it is monogrammed or personalized, it cannot be returned.  If there is an error or defect due by part of the rubia, it must be reported to the rubia within 10 days of receipt of merchandise.  We will give you an authorization number and instructions on how to return the item to us.  The item must be in its original condition.  Original shipping charges cannot be refunded and shipping charges to get the package back to us are your responsibility.  We will make every effort to replace the item with no additional cost to you.
ALL SALE ITEMS ARE FINAL.

FABRIC CARE:
The rubia uses fabrics that are pretty yet durable. We recommend spot cleaning an item, unless otherwise stated.  Purses should not be put in the washer machine, as the shape of the purse will be altered.  Wearable items, however, can be put in the washer on the gentle cycle.  A gentle pressing with the iron helps to freshen up a garment, giving it that new look.  If you have any questions about the care of your item, give the rubia a shout and she'll just love to tell you what to do!
